As a trade union NASS is required to hold an Annual General Meeting. Traditionally an AGM would be held in the same venue each year, but NASS has chosen to hold the meeting at the different racing centres accross the country. This is because we feel everyone who works in racing ought to have the right to address the people who represent them on the issues that matter to them. All racing staff are welcome to attend and have their say on how NASS is run.
The meeting is chaired by the President and includes a report by the Chief Executive, review of finances and update on union’s activities. After going through the agenda the floor is then opened up for questions.
The 2016 AGM was held on the 26 July 2016 at The Racing Centre, Fred Archer Way, Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 8NT. To read:
